DESCRIPTION:Starts at Carlson’s Motor Sales\, Manchester Street\, Concord NH — use entrance on Old Turnpike Road – look for SCCNH signs.  Registration & check-in will be in parking lot behind building. \nRegistration @ 9:30-10:15 AM \nDrivers Meeting @ 10:25 AM \nFirst car off @ 10:45 AM \n  \nCost: $30.00 per car (driver and navigator)\, Veterans and/or active service members FREE \n  \nTSD rally\, no gimmicks or traps — approx. 150 miles\, great views\, paved and unpaved roads — approx.. 4.5 to 5 hours in length. \n  \nProceeds from this event will benefit a Veteran’s Charity! \n  \n– PLEASE READ – \nThe roads are a mix of dirt and pavement across city and country roads with scenic views. Street cars should not have any issues with this TSD rally. \nAll COVID-19 state precautions must be followed.

Bring the whole family as the more eyes\, the better. \nAll competitors will receive a map of the area. Using a clue sheet\, teams will locate places on the map that they have to visit. There is no specified route\, teams figure out how to get to all the locations in the shortest distance. Once at a location\, you will probably have to get out and scavenge around to find the answer to a trivial question about something at that location. It will contain straight forward written instructions that will take you on paved roads where you will need to find answers to questions and pick up some items along the way. You will be scored on your ability to maintain an average speed over the course\, your answers to the questions posed\, and how well you did at finding the items you were looking for. \nThe grand finale for those who wish to continue the adventure will be a tour of Lake Winnipesauke on the M.S. Mt Washington Cruise ship. The cruise leaves the dock at 1pm and returns in approximately 3 hours. It’s a great way to see the lake and some awesome views while sharing stories of your morning drive. You can grab a bite to eat and/or enjoy your choice of beverage while on the ship as well. Note that you must purchase your cruise ticket ahead of time so you can be sure to get a seat. SUMMARY:SCCNH FROST HEAVES ROAD RALLY  - Time-Speed-Distance Rally
DESCRIPTION:2026 Frost Heaves Rally will take place on March 1\, 2026 \nFrost Heaves is a TSD (time-speed-distance) rally.  Precision is the challenge in this type of event. The teams will follow directions to stay on a prescribed route and try to maintain the specified speeds.  All speeds are at or below posted speed limits.  Tulip drawing instructions are used for the rally.  All roads used for Frost Heaves are public roads\, both paved and unpaved.\nA team is made up of a driver and navigator.  Other than a cell phone\, no special equipment is required.  This rally will use the Richta Checkpoint app for scoring.  A clipboard\, calculator\, pen or pencil\, and maybe some highlighters may be useful\, but not required. \nThis is the 1st event of the 2026 SCCNH Rally Championship.  It is expected that the championship series will include at least 4 rallies. \nStart:  Northwoods Brewing/Johnsons\, Rt. 4\, Northwood\, NH.  We will gather in the lower end of the parking lot.  Look for a checkpoint sign.\nFinish:  Northwoods Brewing/Johnsons\, Rt. 4\, Northwood\, NH.  Awards will be presented in the lower end of the parking lot and then anyone wishing to have food or beverages may go inside on\n         their own.
