2021 has been an exciting year for the club! We were able to hold over a dozen various events including autocross, hillclimbs, rallies, and even the Subaru Mt. Washington Hillclimb presented by Yokohama Tire where Travis Pastrana set a blistering record of 5:28:670!

We couldn’t have done this without our dedicated volunteers and participants and for that, SCCNH thanks you! We also thank our 380+ members – a new record for the club for membership – we hope you to see you in 2022!

Our annual autocross awards banquet on December 4th and we were able to raise and donate $1,031 for Operation Delta Dog. Congratulations to all autocross season winners and a big thank you to Dave Estey for his tenure as autocross director! Throughout the year, SCCNH makes donations to a charity with proceeds from every event entry. In 2021, we donated $292 to Make a Wish Foundation, and $506 (part of our overall donation) to Operation Delta Dog. Next year, we will try to donate on a quarterly basis – please let us know if you have a suggested beneficiary.

Thank you to Ray Boissoneau for hosting us at his Auto Gallery in Laconia! We’ll post more information on his Auto Gallery soon and how you can visit (this is a MUST SEE!)

Congratulations to our sportsman award recipients! The David Erb award went to Drew Young for having the most worker and driver points, The Perl & Shirley Benner awards want to Laura Surdek for her outstanding volunteer efforts, and the Bob Heath award went to both Calvin Demerath and Laura Surdek for teaming up throughout the season and going above and beyond for the club. Great work everyone!

Your 2022 board of directors have been elected! Rob Widdick will continue to be President of the club, Calvin Demerath is now the Vice President of the club, Brittni Widdick will remain as Treasurer, Seren Maxwell will remain as Corresponding Secretary, and Laura Surdek will become the new Executive Secretary of the club. We’re excited to have a diverse board to continue growing the club!
